002 | [Accidental Video/Action]

[The feed clicks on, and anyone watching will be greeted to a violent flurry of motion. The communicator has been carelessly tossed to the ground, but it fortunately landed face up, and is recording all the action. Sharp snarls and high-pitched squeals are coming from all directions, and one might recognize the mischievous, darting shapes as Ballybogs. They seem to have attacked the Deity as he went wandering through the meadows.]

[Things were not going to go as planned for the Ballybogs, however.]

[Savagely, the Oni is lashing out and striking down the screaming, shrieking little beasts, his eyes practically burning with contempt. Then, just as suddenly as it started, it seems to be over, the survivors squeaking and fleeing from the wrathful being. Tiny little corpses lay strewn at his feet, and the Deity paces for a moment, clearly agitated.]

[Then, suddenly, he takes a seat, snatching up one of the fallen fae and tearing into its flesh with his sharp teeth. Yes, he is proceeding to devour the bodies. On video. He doesn't really notice its on, and in truth, he wouldn't really care if he did.]

[Shadow's red eyes narrow and he frowns slightly.]

Hey! I asked you a question! Don't you have a name?

No. [He replies simply, continuing his meal. Titles given to him, yes. Names of worship, cursed names. But none of them were his.]

No? Don't you have any kind of identity?

[The tone wasn't mocking - yet - but it was bordering on it. Still more curious at the moment.]

A god. [He senses that snark, shade, and you'd be careful to watch your tongue. He's made snacks of you and your ilk before.]

[Too bad he's way too cock-sure of himself to take you as a threat right now.]

A god? You don't look like a god.

[Not that Shadow had ever actually seen one, but he'd seen sorcerers before and they were all very large and powerful looking and not at all shaped like a man. A God couldn't possibly such a small thing.]

Besides, gods have names.

[He could name three of the top of his head.]

[Yes, gods do have names. His lips twitch slightly with disdain even before he murmurs them almost without thinking.] Din. Farore. Nayru.

See, even you can name them. Gods should have names. If you're a God, you should have a name. I can't just go around calling you "that white-faced-claims-to-be-a-god-guy-who-has-blue-and-red-streaks-on-his-face-and-really-bad-hair".

[a beat and a wicked grin.]

The Fierce Deity. [He says after a moment, almost as though he didn't bother to pay attention to the shade's words.]

Shades do as they ought, until they grow careless. [Idle threats, so very idle~]

[Proud and puffed up he was. Smug as all get out.]

Shadows shouldn't be messed with or ignored.

[He's growling just a little and getting more keyed up.]

[Do you see this? This would be the Deity yawning loudly. The fear has not quite struck his heart.]

[If it wasn't daylight, he would totally be trying to beat you up. But because the big, bad sun was out, he just snarls and smashes his hand against the screen to get it to shut you out. He was bored with you anyway. So there.]
