After a moment, one might realize it’s a combination of a growl deep in one’s throat, as well as the sound of blunt fangs grinding together in obvious irritation. It had taken him quite a while to even figure out how to turn the thing on, but now everyone could have his piercing, narrowed white eyes trying to bore holes through their souls.The creak of his gauntlets tightening around the hilt of a wicked, impossibly helix-blade is a chilling sound indeed.]

Where?

[These were not his lands, and he could not sense Majora anywhere nearby. The Oni was exhausted, still bearing the wounds of his titanic struggle, AND the dried blood smeared across his face only lent itself to his already savage appearance. Someone had better start talking, and quickly, before he found the first pair of mortals to snatch up with his hands and choke them until they mewled every answer he wanted to hear. ]

[The Deity snaps his head around in blatant search for the one who spoke, however irrelevant the uttered word had been. It takes him a moment, but he registers the female mortal contained within the device.]

[He studies her intently for several seconds, curiosity warring with his rage. Finally, he settles with merely asking her again, his tone no less loud, but somehow calmer.]

[Her tongue is different from his, he's grasping this now. She seems to grow somehow, yet simultaneously shrink in size, revealing more of her body as she does so. Curious.]

You shrank. [The Oni rumbles quietly, simply not caring if she could not understand. It was worth noting, and so he was noting it. Out loud.]

[His long ears twitch minutely at the name, but the Deity was satisfied with the prompt reply.]

We do not know. The fae who brought us here have offered us little to no explanation. [She wonders how satisfied he will be with that response. It's unfortunately the truth, and there is nothing she can do about that.]

Fairies. [A statement, and a question. They had been benevolent creatures, at least to the point where they stayed out of his way.]

[There was something about this person that indicated that he was completely serious. That much was obvious. Though the sound of his voice did nothing but drive home that point.]

[That word again. A realm he did not know, this Demeleier. If anything, the Deity at least seemed to settle some, content to receive answers regardless if they were the same or not.]

The fairies. [He was probing for more information. Did the mortal know anything, or not?]

They're the ones that brought us here. I've been told that they're trouble though.

[He grunts at that. Fairies were the ones responsible, then. He'd crush their tiny bodies into powder as soon as he found them...]

[But, that brought him to his next point. Irritated, he tore the odd 'crown' from his head, thrusting it at the screen. It certainly didn't smell unappealing, but the fact that it had been on his person was not appreciated. Another fairy trick?]

[ She grabs some food from off screen, idly eating even as she talks. ] But I have the honor of living here, if that's what you mean.

[She's snagged his attention. Unfortunately, this means he's more interested in watching whatever she's eating than listening.]

Fairies. [The Deity responds in kind, clearly irritated with the lack of new information.]

Um... [He isn't usually scared off by voices but this one is particularly menacing]

Look, if you just got here then you need to get some iron, and some Rowan to keep yourself safe...

[He already threw away the rowan earlier, so that was already moot point. The mention of iron makes him tighten his grip on his sword, almost thoughtfully.]

I will cut them down.

[There's a roaring in his head and a rushing in his ears even before he opens the feed, like a part of him was stretching away and snapping back, swirling all around him. Link puts his hand to his head, closing his eyes as if in pain, and then he looks at the feed.

The bottom seems to drop from his stomach. He knows those eyes. He has worn those eyes. He'd weilded that sword and felt that maddening power coursing through him.

He had been the Deity, and he recognised him for what he was.

Speechless, he doesn't do anything more than suck in a breath of pure shock.]

[The Deity is still riled up and angry over North's cryptic warnings, his eyes flashing with a wild ferocity over the video. There is no recognition of the blond-haired, blue-eyed Hero, though his sudden appearance is enough to give the Oni temporary pause.]

[Unfortunately, it's only temporary.]

[With an angry snort that almost sounds like a challenge somehow, the being allows his lips to draw back, baring his fangs in the most mild warning he can offer. If this is another mortal who seeks to demand things of him, to order him about, he will be unpleasantly surprised with the consequences.[
