After a moment, one might realize it’s a combination of a growl deep in one’s throat, as well as the sound of blunt fangs grinding together in obvious irritation. It had taken him quite a while to even figure out how to turn the thing on, but now everyone could have his piercing, narrowed white eyes trying to bore holes through their souls.The creak of his gauntlets tightening around the hilt of a wicked, impossibly helix-blade is a chilling sound indeed.]

[These were not his lands, and he could not sense Majora anywhere nearby. The Oni was exhausted, still bearing the wounds of his titanic struggle, AND the dried blood smeared across his face only lent itself to his already savage appearance. Someone had better start talking, and quickly, before he found the first pair of mortals to snatch up with his hands and choke them until they mewled every answer he wanted to hear. ]

[That earns another look over. It would be accurate to say the Deity may be mildly amused. Fairies were never much trouble to dispatch, but for a child to take arms... that deserves recognition.]

Easy to crush them, then. [After his struggle against Majora, the Oni can't even blink an eye at the thought of fairies giving him trouble.]

[Saki trades the napkin for the closest rag and kneels, starting to pick up the broken bits of glass now sprayed on the floor. She stands up again when done, carefully wrapping the rag's edges around the glass fragments.]

Exactly. You just need to have some battle skill and most of them aren't much at all. I'd watch out for the bigger ones though.. or at least be a bit more careful than usual.

Demeleier. [Here's someone who's trying not to sound scared. Aggression and bluntness tend to cover it pretty well]

[The Great Fairies were responsible for this, too? The Deity made a low sound of discontent at that. Something wasn't adding up.]

[He watches her movements closely, watching her gather the fragments. They must be valuable. He's never seen such a substance before.]

Fairies. [The Deity responds in kind, clearly irritated with the lack of new information.]

[So valuable that she just... dumps them into the closest trash bin. :D]

Do you want some more? You're like, a giant... You don't eat people, do you? Sandwiches are much higher in protein.

[Ah. A containment device. There were probably more rare fragments.]

Yes. [There's no question of that, but the mention of people makes his head tilt.] No. Unless they deserve it.

Um... [He isn't usually scared off by voices but this one is particularly menacing]

Look, if you just got here then you need to get some iron, and some Rowan to keep yourself safe...

[She waves a hand for him to follow as she heads back into the kitchen proper, starting on a second sandwich. Slicing bread, la la la - ]

How do you know if they deserve it?

[So this is where the food comes from. He follows her, his steps slow and heavy.]

[He already threw away the rowan earlier, so that was already moot point. The mention of iron makes him tighten his grip on his sword, almost thoughtfully.]

[Saki makes a little noise, almost of laughter.]

There are worse things to do than eat stupid people. But I wouldn't try it here.

[The sandwich gets some meat and lettuce before she offers it to him.]

Do you think you can handle another drink?

... Not without iron you wont... [His voice wavers slightly.] Normal weapons don't work on them.

[That earns a pause. His blade wouldn't work on fairies?]

I don't know why. All I know is that iron is the only thing that causes damage to the fae.

Rowan keeps them at bay too, but that's it.

There are more important foes at hand. [He agrees. Whatever sins the mortals may commit here pale to the personal grievance the fairies have given him.]

Yes. [He manages between monstrous bites, clearly appreciating Saki's expert sandwich-making skills.]

That's all I know. I'm as surprised as you are, I didn't even think that faeries could carry me, let alone everyone else here.

Well, if you're ever going to beat them up, make sure to at least tell other people in advance.

I'd like a front seat if there's gonna be such a good show. [ She grins. ]

[Saki pours a second glass of milk but doesn't offer it right away.]

You won't eat the glass this time, right?

[His lips crinkle at those words, baring his fangs in sheer, raw irritation. Sorry, North, you aren't going to get an intelligible response to that. Just a series of low, vexed growls.]

[The Oni pauses to stare at her, a sudden intensity in his features, almost as though trying to see whether she would yield or flinch away from his gaze. Just as unexpectedly, he dips his head in acknowledgement, clearly satisfied. With what is unknown.]
